Latest Assignment 151MC – Creative Digital Practice

with one comment

For my latest University assignment I will be taking six images of an Arne Jacobsen chair.  Probably most recognisable in the photography world thanks to Lewis Morley’s image of Christine Keeler.  The images will be heavily influenced by the minimalist art movement.  However, there will be no scantily clad model sitting on my chair…(well not this week anyway).  The images will be abstract close ups of the chair alone.  I intend to introduce colour to the images either with the background or by using a coloured chair.  Having done some research, I also want to concentrate on texture as well.  Although this may not seem interesting I intend to prove you all wrong and make you see something as simple as a fifty year old chair in a whole new light.  This post is just a taster and the final six images will be placed on here when they are finished.
