The Frontline Club – ‘Ukraine: From Democracy to Chaos’

with one comment

Over the past few months I have often seen people tweeting about the Frontline Club.  Described as ‘the London hub for a diverse group of people united by their passion for the best quality journalism’ it certainly seems to live up to it’s claims.

I attended the screening of ‘Ukraine : From Democracy to Chaos’ which aimed to explore this complex country and where it goes from here.  Although the film got off to a rather shaky start due to technical hitches, it was worth the wait.  Many important issues were addressed in the film and questions answered.  This was then followed by a panel debate.  Jill Emery, Neil Pattie and Orysia Lutsevych took questions from an enthusiastic audience, which in all honesty probably could have continued through to the small hours.

All things considered it was well worth the journey.  After all, It was the content of the documentary that attracted me and it managed to cover many of Ukraine’s complex issues along with interviews with key figures.
