Trouble in Kyiv – Police Brutality At Its Finest

with 8 comments

Last night saw some of the worst trouble on the streets of Kyiv for sometime.  As well as innocent protestors, over 40 journalists were injured with many being beaten by Police.  The video below shows some of the best footage recorded so far.

  1. From 1:30 minutes onward I was shocked at the hit and run motives the police did to the already wounded protester laying down by the curb. Absolutely unnecessary.

  3. Oh yes to sheltered Western minds when such barbarism is at your gates you express revulsion, yet fail to do anything about the oppressed of Arabia who supply the fuel for your gas guzzlers.

Wake up you fools, autocrats the world over use such tactics on a daily basis, yet the west continues to supply them with munitions including tear gas, plus training!

    • I would hardly class myself as a ‘sheltered Western mind’ Rupert. Having worked in Ukraine I’m well aware of the situation there, however I felt obliged to share this video with others here who are not aware of what is happening.

As far as I can see there are plenty speaking out for those in the Middle East but that again is a complex subject in itself.

  4. This is a horrific 6 minutes 43 seconds viewing!!

I watch it & am appalled that this is happening in my/our fatherland country, and can only hope that the right result (EU integration) comes out of it – even though that itself will not be an overnight cure to the situation

    • Thanks for replying Peter. In all honesty this has been a long time coming I feel. The rigged elections proved that nothing was ever going to be sorted via the ballot box, hence people taking to the streets.

I think we both know that this runs a lot deeper than just the failure to sign the EU trade agreement. There are so many other issues that have led people to take such drastic action.

I can’t remember the last time I saw such random brutality by Police on the streets of Europe.
